Biography
Adrian Ruiz,winner of the Busoni Prize,Michaels Memorial Award, Ciudad de Montevideo Competition, Kimber Award and Young Musicians Foundation Award is a native of Los Angeles who studied with Rudolph Serkin at the Curtis Institute of Music where he received an Artists Diploma. He graduated cum laude from USC where he studied with Lillian Steuber. He has appeared as soloist with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, the Marlboro Festival Orchestra, the Chicago Symphony, the Austin Symphony, the SODRE Symphony, the Hadyn-Trento Symphony and the DEBUT Orchestra. He has toured the US, South America, Alaska, Mexico and Europe. He was a former Chairman of the Keyboard Studies Department at the University of Southern California School of Music.
